When equipped with the available Duramax 6.6L Turbo-Diesel V8 engine, the new Silverado HD can tow a whopping 36,000 pounds! When equipped with the traditional gasoline-powered engine, expect towing figures to be roughly 17,400 pounds.
Portland drivers have two distinct engine options to choose from on the new Silverado HD. The first is a 6.6L V8 gas engine capable of producing up to 401 horsepower. The second is the Duramax 6.6L Turbo-Diesel V8, which ups the power figures to 445 horsepower. Regardless of the engine you choose, know you are getting a competent work truck ready to handle any job thrown its way!
Depending on whether you choose the Silverado 2500 HD or Silverado 3500 HD truck, the model choices will differ. The Chevy Silverado 2500 HD is offered as either a Double Cab or a Crew Cab, both of which can be outfitted with a standard size or long bed. For the Chevy Silverado 3500 HD, Portland drivers can choose between a Regular Cab or a Crew Cab, with the latter model offered with either a standard bed or a long bed. Lastly, the Silverado 3500 HD drivers have the choice between single rear wheels (SRW) or dual rear wheels (DRW).
The 2023 Chevy Silverado HD is available in several special edition packages, including the Z71 Sport Edition, which includes a great selection of black appearance upgrades. Additionally, a Carhartt Edition is available, which adds Carhartt appearance upgrades to the exterior and interior of the new Silverado HD. Lastly, The Midnight Edition and Z71 Chrome Sport Edition packages are available to further enhance your new Chevy truck’s appearance!
