The 2025 Chevy Equinox EV provides an EPA-estimated range of up to 319 miles for front-wheel drive models and up to 307 miles for all-wheel drive models on a full charge. It also achieves up to 117 MPGe in city driving. For quick top-ups, DC fast charging can add up to 70 miles of range in about 10 minutes at public stations, offering both efficiency and convenience for various driving needs.
The range of the 2025 Equinox EV can be impacted by very cold temperatures; however, it’s still a capable vehicle in winter conditions. Testing in extreme freezing environments showed an approximate highway range of 150 miles for all-wheel drive models, compared to the EPA estimate of 307 miles. It’s important to note that energy consumption increases in such conditions. However, the Equinox EV incorporates features like Regen on Demand, which helps to recover energy during braking, improving overall efficiency.
The battery in the Chevy Equinox EV is built to last, supported by an 8-year or 100,000-mile warranty guaranteeing at least 70% capacity retention. With advancements in lithium-ion technology, owners can typically expect the battery to provide reliable service for around 200,000 to 300,000 miles.
The 2025 Chevy Equinox EV is available in a spectrum of exterior colors. Single-tone options include: Summit White, Sterling Gray, Galaxy Gray, Radiant Red, Riptide Blue, and Mosaic Black. Two-tone options pair a Summit White or Mosaic Black roof with other body colors. Unique to the RS trim are the Habanero Orange and Iridescent Pearl hues.
